This week's entry is twenty five GW Mordor orcs. They are a combination of plastic and metal and include two of the ooooold metal orc models from when the line was first started, now re-purposed as captains.

This week's entry is Rohan Royal Guards, captains and Eomer. I've had these models bouncing around for about 20 years, so it's good to get them painted and ready to play.

Eomer, banner bearer, outrider and mounted captain. |
Today's post is more CIS for Star Wars Legion. My youngest son is interested in playing Legion and he has chosen CIS. These models represent the final models to be painted for his first army list. With these completed he can show up for his first game with a fully painted army.

Ten models to complete an army. |
There was no entry last week because Rhys and I were off to play in a Star Wars Legion skirmish tournament on plains east of Denver. We had fun but do not really like that format. We really went to support the locals as they are trying to get a Legion group going out there.
This week's entry will be a bit larger than usual as a result. First off is Clan Wren for the rebels.

Clan Wren. All three of them. |
This week is more B1s for Star Wars Legion. This unit gives me four squads. This is the Orange squad.

More B1s. Same as the other ones. |
This week I painted more elves. And some more fantasy Bones. These are Oathmark elves and I like them a lot better than the GW ones.

These are Oathmark from Northstar. I bought them and put them together all by myself. |
This week is more of the same, though less of it. I completed 16 Morannon Orcs with sword and shield. Actually it's 12 of those, two captains, a shaman and a banner. The Star Wars Legion stuff is still working its way across the table, but hopefully it will be ready for next week.

The rank and file are shades of brown but I did the Captains with red to help them stand out. |
This week's entry is Star Wars Legion Rebels from Atomic Mass Games. I recently started playing Rebels, like my dad. I was playing clones but they didn't really fit my play style. The rebels seem to be better.

24 Rebel Troopers. Ready to die gloriously and loudly for the Rebellion. |
This post is two'ish units of B1 battle droids for Atomic Mass Games' Star Wars Legion. they are a mixture of store bought and 3D prints. There is a blue unit, a red unit and two lone droids for a future purple unit.

22 Battle droids. Their only virtue is mass. |
I'm getting close to being done with my Space Marines (which I like painting) and my elves, which I really don't like painting. I also have some other models for this week.
We're back to Star Wars Legion, this time with Boba Fett, Boba Fett and six Mandalorian Super Commandos. Boba is a mercenary that can be taken in several factions, though the two version are used in different factions. The super commandos are part of the Shadow Collective, and also mercenaries. I have four units of these and I want them each different, so these are actually the "last" unit since the others will be painted as Maul loyalists, Death Watch and something else, I guess.

Boba, Boba and six posers. |
This entry is a bit of a mixture. I'm shamelessly trying to hit some locations before I move on and painting the minimum entry for each.
First up is Leonidas. This is a really nice metal model from someone. I can't remember where it came from. My youngest and I were playing some Mortal Gods back during Covid times and he chose the Spartans, buying into their propaganda.

This was an easy model to paint. Very classic metal style. |
For my first entry in the Challenge I'm submitting two units of Rebel Commandos for Star Wars Legion as well as three odds and sods. One is an officer, one is a rebel trooper with a shotgun who can upgrade a rebel trooper squad and the last is an additional rebel commando that I missed when I half painted the rest of that unit five years ago.

The blue commandos. You can tell they're the blue ones because they have a blue flower on the base. |
My name is Rhys and I'm 19 and special needs. This year I really got into painting, I love it so much. I'm super excited to be part of the Challenge this year.
My first entry is three Space Marine snipers from Games Workshop. My dad tells me these count as 28mm even though they are bigger than they used to be.
