Update

I haven't been posting much lately because I haven't finished a thing.  My normal posts seem to be either painted minis or battle reports.  That doesn't mean that I haven't been doing anything, just that none of it has fit into either of those categories.  So here's what has been going on.

A 15mm dropship, in the making.

There has been a lot of assembly going on around the work bench, even if I haven't managed to paint since mid April.  I found that little beauty, above, in the discount bin at Target.  It was $10.  As shown it has ports that pop open, shooting missiles and deploying guns.  I've now cut that orange handle on the back off, glued shut all of the moving parts and primed it dark green, to go with my Federation Marines.

I've also assembled some 15mm terrain as well as 30 or 40 Arc Recon troopers.  I also assembled 20 Roman Legionaries, a scorpion and crew and 20 veterans, all from Warlord.

I have plenty of stuff to paint now.  I have some stuff to prime but there is a lot that has been sitting here on my work bench, mocking me, for the last two months.  I really need to just pick up a brush and start slapping some paint on stuff.

Perhaps if I start with the cargo containers in that picture above.  They can look crap and it's ok.  I hate painters block.

  1. Cool :) I can't wait to get my stuff. I'm trying to build up a bunch of stuff for Tacticon. I also have to find time to write up a battle report of a really sweet Force on Force game I played the other day.

    1. And just like man flu the "fairer sex" has zero sympathy for it.
