Painting - Rhys - Oathmark elves and fantasy Bones

This week I painted more elves. And some more fantasy Bones. These are Oathmark elves and I like them a lot better than the GW ones.

These are Oathmark from Northstar. I bought them and put them together all by myself.

Painting - Challenge XIV - Morannon Orcs

This  week is more of the same, though less of it. I completed 16 Morannon Orcs with sword and shield. Actually it's 12 of those, two captains, a shaman and a banner. The Star Wars Legion stuff is still working its way across the table, but hopefully it will be ready for next week.

The rank and file are shades of brown but I did the Captains with red to help them stand out.

Painting - From Rhys. Crashed X-Wing for Star Wars Legion

This week I painted a crashed X-Wing for Star Wars Legion. I painted the pilot last week, she's blue.

These pieces are 12 inches by 12 inches and 3 inches tall.

The B1 is for scale. There are four sections. This is the biggest.

Painting - 17 more models for the Painting Challenge

This week's entry is two more Star Wars Legion models, a dwarf for role playing and some nasty Morannon Orcs to storm Osgiliath and Minas Tirith.

First up are Luke and C3PO. There are several versions of Luke models and two different game versions, a commander and an operative. This is the Operative Luke model.

His clothes are all black so I went with Black and dark gray with a Nuln Oil wash to give some differentiation.

Painting - Rhys - Challenge XIV entry

This week is a mix of Sci-fi (Star Wars Legion) and Sci-Fi. First off I'm finally done with the elves. This is the wizard for them. She was really hard to paint.

There is so much detail on this model. I tried really hard to make her look right but she was very hard. Dad showed me a sculpture where it looks like she is wearing something over her face and this model has the same thing. (edit: the Veiled Virgin by Giovanni Strazza)

She has parts of the model going in all different directions.
